    If you are tearing down muscle fibers A.K.A. lifting weights you body will use the protein to rebuild it over using it as fuel and if your trying to lose weight (fat) and still are lifting then you need more protein to retain that muscle and ensure it’s not muscle being lossed but fat.
    Your statement is somewhat true but you don’t put it in any sort of context, if i sit around all day and drink protein shakes ..no all get fat..tell us something we don’t know.
