You Too Can Lose Stomach Fat

It might come as a surprise to most of you that reducing belly fat will most likely make you appear to be slimmer all over? This is not a phenomenon! You will actually be thinner everywhere . Even thoughit is a little known fact, when you lose stomach fat you will also have lost significant body fat and weight all over. Thegroundsfor this is that there is no other way that you can lose belly fat without losing fat in most other parts of your body!

Leg Workouts to Lose Stomach Fat

There is a false belief circulating in the physical fitness crowd that it is possible to reduce or lose stomach fat by strictly performing only abdominal exercises. This is sometimes named “spot reducing exercises”
WRONG, can’t be done no matter what the Seen Only on T.V. ads are telling you. Alas, when reducing weight and burning body fat, it will be all over the body, including the loss of belly fat.      

Believe it or not, you can lose a lot more stomach fat by performing some simple leg exercises without any mechanical apparatus at all. Aspuzzling as this might seem, the reason for this is that your leg muscles are the biggest muscles in your body and therefore the
hardest to work. Subsequently you burn more calories. Make sense?
I hope the light went on and you are grasping the realness of all this.

There is a ton of misinformation circulating out there in order to sell you the latest machine that just lost it’s inventor 70 pounds and provided him or her with beautiful 6 pack abs that they are getting ready to parade on the beach. If it worked, who are they going to sell the next invention to?

Here is an example of what is called a “Free Squat”

Stand with your feet apart the width of your hips. Place your hands on each side of your waist, behind your head or straight out in front of you.

Squat to knee level or below and then stand up again. Begin slowly and then build up your resistance until you can do them continuously for 5 to 10 minutes.

Another great one is the “Bunny Hop”

Start off in your Free Squat position and then bend your knees, lower your buttocks down and then take a hop forward just like a rabbit hops. At the beginning this might cause you a little pain but in time, you will be building those leg muscles up and guess what? Yup, you guessed it. You will be losing stomach fat and developing a flatter tummy.

I realize these exercises have been around for ages and that is exactly why we forget about them. So I thought I should mention them here.

Weights and Cardio Workouts

If your up to it, pumping iron and some intensive cardio workout will usually speed up the process of losing that dreaded body fat. Working with weights will build muscle mass which will burn fat hence the flatter your tummy will get. Combined with intense cardio exercises will most certainly increase your metabolism.
 
Last but not Least – Interval Training

Yet another terrific way to increase muscle mass and in turn lose stomach fat. Some of us are not exactly sure what interval training is.
Simply put, it is intense training tapering off to something a little easier.

To give you a clear example, maybe you jog for about 5 minutes and then walk for 10 minutes. After doing this for a couple of weeks, you might want to reverse this and jog for 10 minutes and walk for 5. Over time one could increase these numbers as they see fit.

Less Calories – Less Calories – Less Calories

In conclusion, you know what? This stuff ain’t going to work unless you make the effort to cut the calories! Hey, start by trying to cut out about 500 or 600 calories per day until you get yourself down to 1300 to 1500 calories every day but no less than that to remain healthy.

They say you can safely lose about 2 pounds per week but there are modified plans out there that show you how to lose stomach fat quite a lot faster. Keep in mind that you have got to get serious and be consistent!                                          

Beach season is coming up and I know you gals want to look outstanding in that 2 piece bathing suit and you guys want those 6 pack abs that the gals admire so much. It’s all up to you.
